Stephanie – Managing Director
Stephanie is a qualified occupational therapist, qualifying in 2005. She has worked within learning disability services and mental health services catering for both adolescents and adults- in hospital and community settings. She has held senior management positions for over 10 years, responsible for projects such as; setting up and establishing company wide therapy services, leading a team to register an independent school, hospital turnarounds, and more recently, successfully developing the first CAMHS hospital for Wales for Regis Healthcare. Stephanie is pleased to lead across both companies, ensuring that community living and independence is at the forefront of care delivery.
Stephanie is passionate about the development of high quality services that harmonise both a homely and therapeutic environment, as well as promoting staff training and development to ensure service user welfare is paramount.
Maggie – Hospital Manager
Maggie has over 20 years experience in mental health as a Qualified Mental health nurse. She has worked within an array of services from medium secure, low secure, locked rehabilitation, police custody suites and the female prison service. She has a range of experience in management and working with young females with mental health and intellectual disabilities.
Dr Magda – CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Magda is a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist with over 16 years experience in different fields of psychiatry. She qualified as a medical doctor in 1999 and has worked as a consultant since 2006. She has a special interest in psychotherapy and qualified as an Individual and Systemic Family Therapist in 2008. Dr Magda is experienced in working with adolescents and younger and older adults in both the NHS and independent sectors. She is a skilled leader of the multidisciplinary team and an expert, supportive mentor for her colleagues.
Dr Clare – Clinical Psychologist
Dr Clare is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 23 years’ experience. She qualified as a Systemic Family Therapist 9 years ago and has worked as an APT Consultant Tutor for over 12 years, providing training for staff on a wide range of Psychological theory and practice. She is highly experienced in the application of DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Risk Management, and systemic approaches to the full spectrum of mental health disorders. She has spent many years working in NHS Adult mental health services both within inpatient and community services. As a family therapist she has also worked within inpatient CAMHS services. She has a special interest in staff well-being and its impact on the quality of patient care and is an experienced supervisor and manager.
Naomi – Forensic Psychologist
Naomi has worked within a Forensic setting for over 13 years in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. She has been Registered as a Forensic Psychologist for the past three years. She has worked with a wide range of clients who display challenging and difficult behaviour including young offenders, male and female adult offenders both in the community and in prison. This includes working with people who have a range of complex needs including mental health issues, personality disorders, substance addictions and learning difficulties. Many of these individuals have been perpetrators as well as victims of offending behaviour. Naomi has developed expertise, knowledge and skills in assessing and managing both males and females who present with self-harm, suicidal ideation, violent behaviour, sexually harmful behaviour and intimate partner abuse. She has also been trained in and has developed specific skills in interventions to treat these individuals to enable them to desist from further unhelpful behaviours.
Jasmine – Senior Occupational Therapist
Jasmine has been the Senior Occupational Therapist with Regis Healthcare for the past year and has over 12 years’ experience in the Care Sector. She has practiced within a variety of settings and client groups and offers versatile transferable skills to her role. Jasmine has a keen interest in assisting others to reach their full potential and bring purpose and meaning to their lives.
Tom – Occupational Therapy Technician
Tom has been an Occupational Therapy Technician for the last 12 years, and has spent the last 3 years working for Regis Healthcare. Tom has worked in various placements including Female Medium Secure prior to his current position. He is very outgoing, motivated and enthusiastic. During the evening’s he is a Social Club Facilitator, running different events and activities each evening, as well as the work he does throughout the day.
Scott – Education Lead
Scott is a qualified Teacher within both Primary and Secondary school settings. His subject specialisms include Computer Science, Business and Mathematics. Scott qualified from the University of Glamorgan in 2009 with a Degree in Multimedia Computer Science with Mathematics after fifteen years of people management within the Automotive / Aerospace industry.Scott has spent the past eight years working within Caerphilly and Neath-Port Talbot borough councils as a specialist Mathematics and ICT teacher. Scott specializes in working with young people who have become disengaged from education and has specialist skills in guiding these young adults through their formal GCSE accreditation.
Alison – Teacher
Alison is a qualified teacher with 5 years experience in teaching key skills in a number of settings. she has over 10 years experience working with children who display challenging behavior These experiences and skills provide Alison with the tools needed to successfully educate our challenging young people. Alison works with the young people to assist them in working towards academic goals this includes all core subjects, providing support with college course work and suitable college courses that are available.
Chris – Ward Manager
Chris has worked for our sister company CPI Care for the last 3 years. During his career Chris has achieved NVQ 3 in promoting independence, NVQ 4 in Management and most recently QCF 5 in Health and Social Care. Chris is also currently registered with the Care Council of Wales and previously been a Registered Manager of a care home under CIW. Prior to taking up the role of Unit Manager Chris was the Area Manager of CPI Care’s 16+ service within Ebbw Vale. Chris has worked in the care sector for 20 years and has 18 months experience of working in CAMHS. Chris is passionate about quality of care and is an advocate of using a person-centred approach which empowers the young people we support to be the best that they can be.
James – Support Manager
James has worked in Management for the past 18 years. He has been working for Regis since 2016 and has progressed his position to Deputy ward manager. James is an advocate of staff wellbeing and also supports young people to participate in their therapeutic programmes in order for them to have the best future possible.
