Hillview Hospital is a Low Secure CAMHS service that provides specialist support for young people with severe and complex mental health conditions aged 13-18 years.

It is essential that the successful candidate has:
A recognised degree/diploma level qualification in mental health nursing or HCP equivalent
Be registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council/HCP as per post requirements; full membership/accreditation of a professional institution
Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (e.g. specialist relevant courses)
Experience of working with children and young people
Experience of managing a ward
Experience in a supervisory capacity, responsible for professional/nursing staff
Specialist knowledge and understanding of mental health disorders in children and young people, and their impact on both the client group and their families/carers
Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to children and young people (e.g. Safeguarding, HSF, Every Child Matters etc)

To ensure the delivery of a clinically effective service which meets the needs of individuals, families and communities in line with local and national development plans, Regis Healthcare Ltd policies and procedures.
Responsible for conducting all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly clinical audits across Regis Healthcare ltd
To be responsible for the development of specialist care interventions and care plans. To ensure staff are trained appropriately to competently deliver the care required and ensure supervision and mentorship is in place.
An excellent and high standard of clinical practice with excellent clinical outcomes
Patients health and well-being
Effective motivation, monitoring and management of the Ward team
Communicates delivery and outcomes of care to patients and to other members of the team
Develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders
Effective controls to ensure that Key Performance Indicators and financial targets are met
