On Friday the 27th of September, our young people with the help of our amazing kitchen staff and team of support workers organised a coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan, as well as cakes there were some fantastic crafts made by the young people including an incredible selection of handmade bracelets -
The incredible Macmillan braclet was auctioned off and was won with the highest bid of
£20! There were also some very creative crotchet cakes, for the people with less of a sweet tooth!
There was every type of cake you could have hoped for, and there were rave reviews for the banana loaf cake and the carrot cake!
Involving our young people in charity fundraising is something we try and do as much as possible, it is important to show them that they can make a difference, even if it is by eating cake!
Keep checking back for and update on the final total raised!
